There is much work involved in getting a show from the conception stage to Opening Night.
Theatre companies always need lots of people to bring a stage production to life.

Naturally we need musicians, singers, dancers, actors, comedians, magicians, entertainers of all descriptions to strut their stuff on stage.

Also needed are people with the following talents and interests to work:

Behind the Scenes

• scenery construction – carpentry, steel work, welding, painting
• costume construction – pattern making, sewing
• props – construction, sourcing
• stage crew
• audio design &/or operation
• lighting design &/or operation …….. and also . . .
  

• make up
• hairdressing and wigs
• costume design
• costume making, decorating or finishing off
• costume sourcing

Front of House

• ushering
• ticket sales
• customer service
• food and beverage service
• wait staff

Administration

• publicity
• marketing – strategic marketing of a production and the company
• general business and office admin skills
