AWARDS PRESENTATION
A one act play festival provides an opportunity for friendly theatrical competition with some great prizes to be won, thanks to the local Community Bank® Branch of Bendigo Bank.
A play festival is however about more than awards and cash prizes.
It is an opportunity for performers to meet and mingle with new talent and to catch up with old friends. It’s also a fantastic weekend of polishing theatrical crafts and creating ongoing relationships with actors, directors, playwrights and audiences.
For its audience a festival provides an opportunity for you to see new plays, support your friends, meet new people and be thoroughly entertained. It is a time for locals and visitors to come and sample some (or all) of the marvellous theatrical entertainment on offer without having to spend a fortune.
It is also a chance to see new works written and performed by emerging theatre-makers, while soaking up the convivial atmosphere.
